Bologna doesn’t break through: against Parma it’s 0-0. At Dall’Ara there was a two-faced challenge, but no goals

Goalless draw, with two faces, between Bologna and Parma who shared the stakes in the Dall’Ara match. On the one hand, the regret of the Bolognese, who played almost the entire second half in numerical superiority due to the direct expulsion of Woyo Coulibaly. On the other hand, the satisfaction of the dukes, who despite the difficulties managed to bring home a very important point. Lots of chances on both sides in the first half while in the second half, after the red card to the midfielder which came thanks to the VAR review for a foul on Ndoye, the yellow and blues mainly acted on throw-ins, maintaining the balance and deserving the draw.

The words of Italian.
Vincenzo Italiano, coach of Bologna, was disappointed and commented after the match: “The winning streak was missing and we’re sorry. In the first half we should have been faster and tried to put them in difficulty, while we should have exploited the numerical superiority better. But ‘It must be said that we don’t concede goals and despite the six rotations we have maintained our identity. It’s a shame about the opportunities we’ve had, we need to improve more in this aspect with both the wingers and the midfielders. I’m sorry but we will work to improve.’ .

Pecchia’s words.
Parma coach Fabio Pecchia, however, was visibly satisfied: “We played a great game. In the first half we created a lot, and risked something on dead balls. From the 52nd minute, however, another game was born which the team interpreted well, defending with order. I’m very happy because in a very beautiful setting my team tried to be protagonists in every match match, however, the team has always maintained its identity: today we bring with us, in addition to our way of being, a mental intensity that the team brought out in a complicated moment.”
