Jhon Duran at Aston Villathe wedding continues. The Colombian striker born in 2003 has signed a new contract with the English club, adding two years to the previous agreement which stipulated that it expired in 2028. A deserved reward for an amazing start to the season in the Premier League and Champions League: the 20-year-old was close to leave Villa Park in the summer due to flattery and repeated contact with West Ham, but after remaining in the Midlands he scored 6 goals in 10 games in all competitions played. “Aston Villa is delighted to announce that Jhon Durán has signed a new contract with the club until 2030.
The 20-year-old has been in dazzling form at the start of this season, scoring six times, including the only goal on Wednesday night which sealed a famous victory against German giants Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
He also contributed to the goals in matches against West Ham, Leicester and Everton, the latter with a spectacular long-range strike.
