Turin, Ricci: “We are an ambitious team. Interest from other clubs? Just chatter”

Samuele Ricci, Torino midfielder, gave an interview to DAZN after the defeat suffered against Inter at San Siro:

What match was it for you?

“It was a complicated match, the positive thing is the spirit. Even those who took over gave that something extra. Ten against eleven was even more complicated. We take home what was positive, now let’s think about the next matches.”

What time is it for you? What do you think of these Manchester City rumors?
“Now is certainly a very positive moment. I think that now there is a need to improve in those things that I am not yet good at. There is outside chatter as always in football. When things are going well that’s how it is but you have to keep your feet on the ground. Now the national team awaits me and I have to give my best.”

Is there a different courage for you than before?
“We have ambitions that may or may not arrive. The other years we came close to the Europe area but now we would like to try to get there. We have to think from game to game but today it was important to give a group signal. Then the result didn’t arrive but we have to move forward because the championship is very long. 100 appearances in Serie A? You still treat me like a young man, but I’m old (laughs, ed.)”.
