Gilardino doesn’t make excuses: “Atalanta super, but surrender is inconceivable”
Grifone coach Alberto Gilardino shows his usual honesty in analyzing the bad defeat, even if in a moment of complete emergency for the rossoblu: “Given that playing against this Atalanta is difficult for us, just think about the match they played in the Champions League in an amazing physical form. In the first half we contained, then in the second Atalanta dominated us in terms of technical and physical qualities. What is not conceivable is the surrender, despite knowing we are playing against a very strong opponent. We are in difficulty, but how I was saying surrender is not conceivable.”
