From the derby onwards always the same lineup…
“Continuity is important at the moment. Having more days to recover the players, if the team is well, it is important to keep as many players as possible in the starting eleven. It’s not because I don’t have faith in the other players eh… Sia Loftus- Cheek and Chukwueze have entered well and work well, but I think that at this moment it is important to have a base.”
From stop to stop: do you want a fourth win out of four?
“We didn’t win in Leverkusen, but the group was disappointed, angry. I felt good sensations, the team worked very well again. We want to win. Playing in Florence is always difficult, they have a very good team.”
How is Morata?
“He’s fine, he’ll play tomorrow.”
Is Pavlovic in the rotations?
“It’s important to have stability mainly in defence. Gabbia and Tomori played some great games and I think Pavlovic must continue to work, because he will have opportunities. The two central defenders Gabbia and Tomori are doing well and I think it’s important to continue like this.”
Cage in the national team.
“I am the Milan coach and I don’t want to influence Spalletti, but I think he made the right choice. Gabbia is in a great moment. I’m very satisfied. If there’s anyone here who deserves it, it’s Gabbia.”
Are Napoli scary?
“There is a lot to play for and there are many strong teams who want the same goal as us. Obviously Napoli have the advantage of not having the European cups. They have a very strong coach and a very strong team. I’m not creating them pressure, because it’s the truth: Napoli are a great candidate for the Scudetto.”
Do we need to improve on away games?
“For us it’s the same: playing at San Siro or away is the same, we prepare the match to win.”
