The Inter winger, Carlos Augusto, during the interview given to MatchDay Program Nerazzurri talked about some aspects of himself, also recalling the day of his arrival in Milan: “On the day of the presentation I was a little anxious, but the fact that I felt ready to arrive at a big club gave me peace of mind. It was a new starting point for setting new goals. In training I like to challenge Asllani, Frattesi and Bisseck in particular, especially in practice matches we are very competitive.”
What made you passionate about football?
“When I watched matches as a child I was enchanted. Becoming a professional footballer was a dream that I achieved with a lot of determination and effort. When I played my first match as a professional at Corinthians I was 19 years old, after the match I watched it again and at that moment I thought how wonderful it was to play football, it was a day that gave me so much energy.”
If you think about the passion for this sport, who comes to mind?
“Definitely my father, for the determination he had. He was always by my side, I remember the Sundays when he got up at six in the morning to accompany me to the field, I owe him so much…”.
