Nicolas Viola, Cagliari midfieldergave a long interview to Radio during which he also traced an identikit of his coach Davide Nicola in his eyes. Viola’s reflections start from the atmosphere that reigns in the locker room after achieving the first victory in the championship on Monday evening on the Parma pitch: “I think that the work that the team does is indispensable, which supports certain characteristics. In Parma we found something to start from and to continue from more than anything else. I don’t really believe in the desire for revenge, we didn’t have to prove anything to anyone except ourselves. It’s a team built in the best possible way that still has a lot to prove in this championship.”
Is the team united around Nicola?
“I’m happy to have met a really good person and a great coach. The team is growing, we’ve changed a lot this year. Apart from against Empoli, I don’t think there were any negative moments. It was just a stalemate , but after Parma we will try to maintain this type of approach.”
