Ultra case, Minister Abodi: “With Piantedosi we will find legislative solutions”

(ANSA) – FLORENCE, 03 OCTOBER – “I think that the stadium is not a free zone, a fan cannot be a criminal. I would like us all to work together for a clear distinction, if you are a fan there are rules, if you are a delinquent and violas you are no longer a fan and you don’t enter the stadium. Next week I will meet Minister Piantedosi and we will find new solutions in legislative terms.” This was said by the Minister for Sport and Youth, Andrea Abodi, on the first day of the National Festival of Civil Economy underway in Florence, speaking about the investigation into the ultras.

“If the events that have happened simply become news and don’t leave their mark, they are a missed opportunity, instead I think we need to seize the moment for a change of pace – continued Abodi -. The image of football is affected by these events only if there isn’t a reaction, if there is a reaction it will be a positive response, of a healthy world, attacked by factors that have nothing to do with sport and football.” (HANDLE).
