Lazio is fun with Pedro and Castellanos, but Nice is alive: it’s 2-1 at half-time

Nice first half Lazio against the Nice in the 6.45pm match valid for the second day of the Europa League. After the first 45 minutes the Biancocelesti are ahead 2-1 thanks to goals from Pedro after 20 minutes of play and Valentin Castellanos in the 35th minute, while the French scored Jeremy Boga for the 2-1.

Baroni’s men start off strong and immediately try to take control of the game in the Rome rain: in the 12th minute Taty is the protagonist of an extraordinary header with the ball which however impacts the top corner. Two minutes later, Vecino hit the top of the crossbar with a deflected shot from outside. The goal, however, is in the air and arrives shortly after…

Pedro and Castellanos, then Boga responds
The first celebration, as mentioned, is from Pedro: the Spaniard takes a corner which Patric pounces on, whose header is however blocked by Bulka. The ball lands at the feet of the former Barça player who scores the 1-0 with a wonderful left-footed shot. In defense the Biancocelesti risk little and in the 35th minute the second goal also arrives: a maneuvered action, with Pedro who sees Castellanos’ movement at the right times and serves it in depth. Taty is very good at cutting off the defender and still beating Bilka with the dig. The 2-0 goal, however, does not stun Nice who, on the contrary, finds the 2-1 goal before the end of the first half: Boga starts from afar, closes the triangle and beats Mandas for the goal that reopens the game.
