Cavese, general manager Filippi: “I regret a few points lost, the objective remains salvation”

Clemente Filippi, General Director of Cavese, spoke to TMW Radio during the broadcast A Tutta C.

What do you expect from Marani’s confirmation as president?
“Like Cavese we obviously give our utmost support to the Presidency and all the management, because we, as spectators first and now as members of the League, have been able to ascertain the work carried out in these few months, which has given prestige and visibility to the League. I’ve been hanging around the Lega Pro a lot for twenty years and there are definitely visible changes.”

Before the start of the championship would you have signed to have nine points after seven days?
“The reality is that our objectives are those of a peaceful salvation and obviously, as we have said in the past, to consolidate the company in the category. there is certainly regret for some lost points, like when we were caught in ninety-fifth. However, the championship is long and will give us the opportunity to recover what we think has been taken away from us.”

Yours is a complicated and balanced group with many organized teams. What are your thoughts on group C?
“It is too early to outline the ranking and to establish the values, which can really be understood after thirteen or fourteen days. Our goal is to get the most out of every race. Now we have this round against leaders Picerno, who will not have the coat of arms of the others but who absolutely has values. It’s a team that knows what it’s doing, it will be a very tough obstacle. We are preparing the race like the other challenges, they must be faced with the right determination.”
