Abodi: “Franchi Stadium? The government will do its part, it is part of the project aiming for Euro 2032”

Reached on the sidelines of the National Festival of Civil Economy in Florence, the Minister of Sport, Andrea Abodispoke about the future of the Artemio Franchi stadium: “I have learned that for good things, done well and together, money is not a problem – reports the online portal of The Nation – indeed, it will not be the resources that are currently lacking that will cause the project to stall. I see that the project is starting to interest the Viola club too, there has been a rapprochement in relationships and when we get closer and talk in a constructive and proactive way, solutions can be found.

The government will do its part. Florence is part of an overall project that aims at Euro 2032 but not onlythe Municipality of Florence and Fiorentina were two of the interlocutors we have already listened to at the table we set up with the Ministry of Economy, the mayor was there (Dario Nardella, ed.) with all the representatives of the Viola club, therefore also we will do our part, they know what tools we could make available, harmony brings solutions.

The solution is simply to move forward, the rapprochement of positions, the dialogue that has taken place between President Commisso and the new mayor, I think will lead to clarifying everything because public opinion also needs to know exactly what the times will be.”
