“I have to be honest, great credit goes to Matteo Marani for the work he did – he explains -. He was very good, he did many things. He made promises and fulfilled even more. We lent a hand and are happy to be part of this We are happy even though there is still a lot to do.”
What are the next steps?
“In every aspect, in everything we have carried out, we can grow. We need to increase income and reduce expenses. We have done something with young people, increasing in quantity, now we need to work on quality. We have faith and hope to find other financial resources to support the clubs in our championship. We hope that the FIGC recognizes our work. As the president said, we are a service league: many of our clubs do not earn money and work out of passion Italy and we are doing a great job for the entire Italian football movement.”
