The 2nd day of the Champions League Phase continues this evening, with – among others – a decidedly interesting challenge such as Leipzig-Juventus. Due to the game idea of the two coaches, it promises to be a game that is beautiful to watch and open to any result. Who will prevail between Rose’s fast Leipzig and Motta’s fluid (and tough) Juve? Word to the field. Appointment at 9.00 pm Red Bull Arena from Leipzig, Mr. François Letexier directs the challenge.
HOW LEIPZIG ARRIVES – 4-4-2 by Rose’s team, determined to face Juventus without the slightest fear. In front of Gulacsi, a four-man defensive line with Geertuida and Raum on either side of Orban and Lukeba. The heart of the midfield will be the home of Seiwald and Haidara, supported on the external lane by the push of Nusa and Simons (with the latter who, in the course of the work, could have an even more central position). Up front there is room for the deadly duo of Openda and Sesko, authors of 3 of the 4 goals with which Augsburg was demolished in the last round of the Bundesliga.
HOW JUVENTUS ARRIVES – Several changes in Thiago Motta’s 4-2-3-1, compared to the formation seen from the first minute against Genoa. Di Gregorio returns between the posts, while Gatti is back in defense having recovered from the ankle injury suffered against PSV. He will be Bremer’s partner, with Kalulu (in the run-off with Savona) on the right and Cambiaso on the opposite side. In the median, Locatelli’s position is practically certain, paired with one of Thuram, Fagioli and Douglas Luiz (the Frenchman is on pole). Vlahovic is obviously the advanced reference, with Nico Gonzalez (undermined by Conceicao), Koopmeiners and Yildiz behind him.
