Juve seeks confirmation against Leipzig: Motta has no doubts about the lineup

Today, Juventus will be involved in the second day of the Champions League, at 9pm at the Red Bull Arena, against Leipzig. Thiago Motta presented the challenge to the German team like this: “Good game, open, against a competitive team, which plays good football and applies good pressure. We must give continuity to our game to control the match. And then when we have the ball, we have to attack well to put them in difficulty.”

Juve challenges Leipzig’s super defense. Motta doesn’t want to suffer his opponent.
Today’s match will be between the two best defenses of the five European championships, but Thiago Motta has no doubts about the fact that it will be an open match for both teams: “The data means a lot, it gives us solidity. The two teams that do not they put it back and try to play on the opponent’s mistakes, this means a lot. Tomorrow we will need a good, complete performance. To do well tomorrow we will have to play good football, use the ball with great quality, and do the defensive phase very well as we have done up to now, facing different teams.” For the Italian-Brazilian coach there is no possibility of a Juve as a Champions League different from that of the championship, but the only difference is dictated by the characteristics of the opponent: “It’s not a question of the cup or the championship. All the matches are different. Let it be how we face the opponent. One thing is certain: we don’t want to suffer the opponent’s play. We will always try to compete to have control of the game.”

Motta has no doubts about the lineup to field against Leipzig.
Thiago Motta appeared very sure about his lineup choices for the match against Leipzig: “No, no doubts about the lineup. I’m very sure of the choices. I can’t tell you. Are your certainties today those of tomorrow? Surely. If nothing happens… Has anyone told you the lineup? Nothing changes for me. The players already know it.” For this match, the Juventus coach will rely on the 4-2-3-1: Di Gregorio will be in goal. Kalulu, Gatti, Bremer and Cambiaso will play in defense from right to left. In midfield the Locatelli is certain and alongside him there will be one of McKennie and Thuram. In the attacking midfield there will be room for Nico Gonzalez, Koopmeiners and Yildiz. In attack it will again be Vlahovic’s turn.
