On the second day of the Champions League, Inter beat Red Star 4-0. At San Siro, Simone Inzaghi’s men made no mistakes and handled the Serbian task without major problems. Calhanoglu’s free kick (11′), Arnautovic (59′), Lautaro (71′) and Taremi’s penalty (81′) were the goals that gave the Nerazzurri success, which rose to 4th in the table.
Carlos Augusto thus analyzed the challenge to the microphones of Inter TV: “It was a very important match, we made many changes after Udine and we demonstrated the strength of this group. We knew that it would be a difficult match and that they would all play backwards, we were good at exploiting the opportunities and scoring four goals. The championship? There are teams that are doing well and one of these is Torino. The championship is balanced, but we are Inter and we know that we must always enter the field to win.”
