“It was a captivating elective assembly, the result of the unity of purpose that can be felt among all the clubs. For us who are newly promoted, Marani was an immediate point of reference. We learned important advice from his visit to Carpi and it immediately proved an important vector also in relation to municipal administrations which are very important for us given that we use publicly owned structures”.
Return to Serie C after a few years. What are the biggest differences you found compared to the previous path?
“In the old club I had another role and it would seem unfair to me to make notes, but I can say that as a newly promoted person, the transition from D to C meant an enormous transition. On a personal level, I found myself with a hundredfold increase in visibility and greater attention on everything the movement. Furthermore, there has also been a strengthening on the political level, in view of fundamental sustainability for the future”.

“The sporting director and I were a little worried once we saw the calendar, while the president has always been very positive. Let’s say that on the eve we would have signed up for seven points in the first seven matchdays. A hint of regret for the defeats against Pescara and SPAL, however, are there. However, we look to the future with confidence in terms of quality and that is what interests us the most.”
