The mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala spoke about the ultras investigation involving organized Inter and Milan fans, explaining the Municipality’s position on the matter, as can be read on SportMediaset:
“As a Municipality, we have accessed the documents because we want to know if there are aspects that may concern us as subjects who have suffered damage. We are in fact entrusting something that is ours – that is, the stadium – to someone else. We need to know if this someone else is in a position to manage it. This is why the Municipality is a party to the matter”, and that someone “at this moment must demonstrate, as the prosecutors say, that they can manage”.
