Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah spoke to Sky Sports in view of this evening’s super match against Milan on the second day of the new Champions League. During his speech, the German centre-back also told an anecdote regarding his family and his bond with Italy:
“I have a special bond with Italy, my wife is Italian and her whole family are AC Milan fans. It will be a sort of family derby, so it will be very interesting for me, I’m happy because it’s the first time I’ll play against AC Milan I can’t wait, I’m focused for this match,” Tah explained.
In the press conference alongside in the Bundesliga, very tactical and with great defenses. It will always be a very high level, very high concentration will be needed, we will have to be dominant in possession. Then be careful, because they are dangerous on the counterattack. The increasingly clogged calendars? There are more and more games… I like playing and comparing myself with other teams, but I have to say that we need a limit. Look at how many we have been playing in recent seasons, keeping the level always high is difficult also because it increases the risk of injuries.”
