Having archived yesterday’s very heavy defeat on the occasion of one of the final matches of the 7th day of the Serie C championship, Group C, with Benevento winning 4-1, the Juventus Next Gen he also has to deal with the infirmary, who doesn’t seem to smile at all towards coach Paolo Montero’s team, and above all towards the defender Riccardo Stivanellowhich probably ended the season early.
In fact, as the club makes known, the player born in 2004, who was injured in the midweek match on Thursday 26 September against Picerno, he suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament, a situation that will force him to have surgery.
Here is the official note from the Old Lady regarding the conditions of its member: “Following the sprain of the left knee reported during the Juventus Next Gen-AZ Picerno match, Riccardo Stivanello underwent magnetic resonance imaging at J|medical, which highlighted the injury to the anterior cruciate ligament, with indication of surgery which will be performed in the next few days.”
There is no mention yet of recovery times, for that a further evaluation will be necessary, but in these cases it is normally rather delayed. In any case, further communications from Juventus are awaited, as they will have to give up their player for a while.
