Inter ultra boss Ferdico: “I met Barella and Calhanoglu for the tickets”

What is emerging in recent hours following the investigations and searches launched by the Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office is still controversial. regarding illicit activities, of various types, traceable among the groups organized in the Inter and Milan corners.

In the investigators’ sights there are also meetings with footballers such as Hakan Calhanoglu, Nicolò Barella and the now ex Juan Cuadradonow playing for Atalanta. From a phone call between the leader of the Inter team Marco Ferdico and Marco Materazzi, the same one in which Javier Zanetti’s name was mentioned, it emerges that Ferdico “met Calhanoglu and Barella, to talk about the critical issues that arose from the affair of the tickets Champions League final”, also learning of the “Turkish footballer’s complaints about the club’s behaviour”.

Calhanoglu in August 2023, we read in the documents of the Prosecutor’s Office, should have spent an evening at dinner with his family and that of Antonio Belloccoheir to the ‘Ndrangheta gang who was murdered less than a month ago. Shortly afterwards Calhanoglu, also with his family with him, would have spent an evening at dinner with Ferdico and his loved ones, who would also have received official game shirts. In an interception dated 22 August, Ferdico told Bellocco about a meeting with Calhanoglu and Cuadrado to be finalized shortly thereafter.

Finally there is the phone call with Materazziwho is not under investigation but considered by prosecutors to be “a man still believed to be very close to the Inter club and at the same time linked to exponents of the Curva Nord”. The launch of the beer marketed by Materazzi himself, complete with a promise from the supporters’ leaders to ensure that it was sold exclusively in the next Inter stadium, would be proof of this.
