Zazzaroni: “Lazio are surprising me, at the end of the summer I wouldn’t have given them a euro”

Lazio also wins and convinces in Serie A, where they found victory again after the defeat suffered by Artemio Franchi against Fiorentina. The Biancocelesti faced another away match, winning 2-3 at Torino thanks to goals from Guendouzi, Dia and Noslin. A performance that also convinced Ivan Zazzaroni, director of Corriere dello Sport who often has nice words for Marco Baroni’s team in his editorial: “I saw a team that plays as a team and has earned everything it gets. Beating the very lively and lively Toro at the Olimpico was anything but simple: Lazio did it with an almost moving application, never sparing themselves and controlling the match with clarity and personality even after Adams’ goal.”

Zazzaroni continued, explaining how Lazio didn’t convince him much at the start of the new season. Baroni’s method is therefore working and gives the Biancocelesti fans hope: “Lazio are surprising me: at the end of the summer I wouldn’t have given them a euro, even though I respect Baroni, a coach who always respects the club’s needs”.
