Leverkusen, Tah: “I stayed and everything is fine. Calendars? We need a limit”

Ahead of tomorrow’s match against Milan, the second day of the new Champions League, the Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah he also spoke about the insistent summer rumors that wanted him away from Aspirins and the very current issue linked to super-clogged calendars and injuries also resulting from the increasingly continuous use of footballers during the season:

What do you think after your stay despite the summer transfer rumors?
“I feel good here, I’ve adapted, I have a good relationship with everyone so I can say that everything is fine.”

Why is it difficult to face Italian teams?
“It’s difficult for everyone. They have a different style than the Bundesliga, very tactical and with great defences. It will always be a very high level, very high concentration will be needed, we will have to be dominant in ball possession. Then be careful, because they are dangerous on the counterattack” .

The increasingly clogged calendars?
“There have been more and more games… I like playing and comparing myself with other teams, but I have to say that we need a limit. Look at how many we have been playing in these seasons, keeping the level always high is difficult also because it increases the risk of injuries” .
