Thiago Motta’s report cards: the victory and the goals return, always with a clean sheet

Juventus’s Thiago Motta begins to take shape. After three consecutive 0-0s in the league against Roma, Empoli and Naples, interspersed with a 3-1 success against PSV on their debut in the new Champions League, the Bianconeri finally found goals again in Serie A and scored 3 against Genoa. Without suffering any, confirming that it is a real bunker.

The evaluations of the various newspapers are obviously all positive. TMW is one of those who opts for 7, thus judging the work of the Juventus coach: “His Juventus gets back to scoring and wins the three points. After a subdued first half they grow in the second half showing good patterns of play. changes give an extra gear.”

Slightly less broad, however, was La Gazzetta dello Sport: “Sad first half, forced Rouhi’s debut. In the second half Vlahovic gives him a good hand and he then changes Juve as he should.” This is the ‘rosy’ rating, in addition to the 6.5 given on the report card. The same vote also comes from Tuttosport: “The problem is not yet unravelled, because a random episode is needed to solve the puzzle of the goal against a solid defence. But then the team breaks up, many take over and Juventus takes the lead top of the charts. At least for one night.”
