The Liverpool manager Arne Slotspoke at Match of the Daycommented on the victory over Wolverhampton which earned them the lead in the standings: “It’s always nice to win, especially away. The first 15/20 minutes weren’t fantastic. It was a really tough start for us, but in the end we took control of the game.”
Slot does not promote his team’s performance as a whole: “No, it didn’t go well, even in the last minutes of the game. For the intermediate parts, I thought we did really well.
