Eurorivals – Benfica exaggerated: 5-1 at Gil Vicente, but Sporting Lisbon are 5 points away

The Benfica doesn’t lose pace. After Santa Clara, Stella Rossa and Boavista, this evening the practice also closes Gil Vicente in the seventh round of the Liga Portugal with a 5-1 of character and comeback, then crowned by the large overtaking: the goal of the opponents with Félix Correia could have worried the Portuguese team, which will challenge Juventus and Bologna in the Champions League, but the goals of Otamendi and Akturkoglu turned the tables.

In the second half the Eagles took off and achieved the final victory: 5-1 and three points, for a second place in the standings which sees them -5 behind Sporting Lisbon. This is the fourth consecutive victory in the Bruno Lage era.
