Alessandro Budelinterviewed by colleagues from ParmaLive.comspoke about Fabio Pecchia’s team: “Parma started off strong, driven above all by great initial enthusiasm and the quality of the many young players who make the yellow-blue team an excellent team. However, I believe the defeat against Udinese took away some security for the team and in my opinion in these moments some more experienced players could be needed who can calm the group in order to leave the fear aside.
Today, perhaps, with the euphoria shown in the very first matches having subsided slightly, the Crusaders may be a bit downsized on a mental level, but the quality of the squad remains and I am of the opinion that there will be no major problems in reaching salvation even because not all opponents have players like those of the Ducali. This is Parma’s strength, a team that can be able to achieve 3 or 4 consecutive useful results and go swimmingly as well as lose a couple in a row due to a few too many errors or a few wrong readings during the 90 minutes.
I think Parma is a team to be taken with a grain of salt, capable of hurting everyone. Maybe it could happen that you fail in an important match due to a wrong approach such as a safety clash at home in which everyone expects the three points and then instead go and have a big game at San Siro or on other difficult pitches.”
