Interviewed by today’s edition of The Morning, Walter Sabatini he analyzed the moment of Antonio Conte’s team and the Coppa Italia match against Palermo: “Two cities, Naples and Palermo, that will always express football. Two places that live football, as Diego said, as a factor of salvation. A necessity for children who have to play and who perhaps don’t have much else”.
The manager then focused on the transfer market movements of the Azzurri with many purchases that have arrived for mister Antonio Conte: “I really like Neres: a player who enters the game immediately and determines a lot. From a point of view of consistency instead I say McTominay: a player who is a guarantee of results. A great purchase with great personality and physical strength. Napoli has made an important transfer campaign. All they need is Lukaku at the top and then they can aim high”.
On whether it is easier for Napoli to win the Scudetto or for Palermo to return to Serie A, Sabatini is tight-lipped: “A traitor’s question. Statistically, it is easier for the Rosanero to go to Serie A based on statistics alone (four teams move up). But I wouldn’t be surprised if Napoli goes all the way. Inter remains the strongest, even if this year there is no longer the gap of last year.”
