Milan, Fofana and the first days in red and black: “I have no regrets. Here everything is as I expected”

Youssouf FofanaAC Milan midfielder, in his interview with the club’s official channels, also spoke about his first weeks in red and black, after his arrival during the last summer transfer market: “Here it is exactly as they described it to me: the dressing room, the teammates, the enthusiasm that you can feel in the city and the fans. I have no regrets and I can’t wait to discover even more. The management helped me a lot, especially Moncada who is French and helped me a lot. All the support I received helped me and the club gave me a hand to fit in as best as possible”.

How do you get along with your dressing room mates at Milan?
“Then there are players in the team who speak French, I’ve been in different contexts and I’ve tried to speak Italian but so far it hasn’t been great. However, I try to speak with everyone and get to know new cultures, to speak Italian, Spanish or even German.”

Did the “Courage” sign in the locker room before the derby give you the energy to win?
“I didn’t notice it at first, I was so focused… Then I saw the word courage written in different languages. That’s how it was, we just had to get on the pitch and show that we understood.”
