From Varas to Liguori, Padova is working towards a poker of heavy renewals

All players that the club aims to retain by announcing their contract extensions as soon as possible.

Fusi, born in ’98, arrived in the summer of 2023 from Sangiuliano City and has since made 43 appearances – including six this season – with three goals scored; Varas, born in ’93, also arrived in Veneto in 2023, immediately becoming a point of reference for the team with which he has made 49 appearances with ten goals (seven appearances and two goals at the start of this season).

As for the attack, the right winger Capelli has already started this season with two goals in seven games, almost equaling the haul of a year ago when he had three goals, but in 43 appearances in various competitions. Liguori, much talked about in the summer, is instead the one with the most militancy of the four, given that he has been playing for Padova since 2022 and in these two years and something he has collected 76 appearances with 25 goals, three of which in the first seven games of the year.
