Mario Balotelli surprisingly can go to play in Bulgaria. According to local website ‘Topsport.bg’, the Italian striker, currently a free agent, is in talks with CSKA Sofia. “If the two sides reach an agreement and Mario Balotelli joins CSKA, it would be the transfer of the year for Bulgarian football,” the portal reads.
In the last few days, during an interview given to ‘DAZN’, Balotelli expressed himself as follows about his future: “I have received offers from abroad, but I have slowed everything down because I have the hope of returning to Serie A. There are no teams where I wouldn’t be happy, I should rather think about which ones might not be right for me. I don’t understand what prejudice people have about Balotelli. I have had arguments with some coaches, but everyone argues. In my career I have never ruined a dressing room. Today we hear talk of doping, drugs, betting… I have always stayed away from these things. What have I done that was so serious?”
And again in another passage: “I have gone through moments in which I felt alone, unmotivated, unprotected. In those moments I was lucky to have my family close by. It helped me to undertake a psychological journey, because I think we all have traumas. This journey has changed me a lot, because now I am more aware of myself, and this for me is a weapon, because you know how to control yourself. My regret is not having done it before”.
