Are you surprised by Arezzo’s start?
“Arezzo was already an important club when I was there. That season with Covid we trained very little, I was fired and they were relegated. However, they are still a good club and I am not surprised that they are first in the standings. I am happy for them”.
Unspectacular draw between Perugia and Pescara, what do you think about the two teams?
“I was at the stadium the other night, it wasn’t a brilliant match. In the end, maybe Perugia deserved something more than Pescara because they had a few more chances. Considering that Perugia had 5-6 absences, they played a great match. Pescara surprised everyone a bit because they are second in the league. For me, they can do a little more if they are supported up front”.
Could the change of ownership have had an impact on Perugia?
“Perugia is a very good team. They have important players who are wasted for the category. For me the change of management has taken something away. The president left while he was being contested. I don’t know if the new owners will dig into their pockets because something needs to be added. For example, up front something definitely needs to be added because they are missing a few goals”.
Is Baldini the right choice for Pescara?
“He’s someone who says what he thinks, he doesn’t mince his words and so in my opinion he was appreciated. The fan doesn’t want to be made fun of when someone makes a mistake they have to take responsibility. In football you can’t hide things.”
