Athletico Paranaense Bench Shake-up: Lucho Gonzalez Is The New Coach

Two days before the return leg of the quarter-finals of the Copa Sudamericana against Racing Club, Athletico Paranaense has decided to turn the season around. The Brazilian club has fired Martín Varini and has appointed Luis Oscar “Lucho” Gonzalezwhose experience on the bench is limited to 10 games with Ceará (1 win, 4 draws, 5 defeats). The former player of Porto, River and Marseille was also assistant coach of Atletico Paranaense and Internacional de Porto Alegre.
