Mario Rui sues Napoli and appeals to the AIC: he wants to be reinstated in the squad

Napoli’s Portuguese full-back Mario Rui has asked for the intervention of the Footballers’ Association to return to training with the rest of the group. Tied to the Neapolitan club by another two years of contract, the former Roma full-back who is not part of Conte’s project after having refused several destinations between August and September found himself training alone in Castel Volturno. For several days the footballer born in ’91 has been training without teammates and for this reason he has asked for the intervention of the AIC: the request is to return to training with the group.

As reported by ‘IlMattino.it’, Napoli for its part does not seem to want to change position. The player had already been informed in the summer that he was not part of the project and the decision to exclude him from Conte’s working group came at the same time as the many offers rejected by the Portuguese. Mario Rui can train at Castel Volturno, but not at the same times as the other players.
