Juventus have not conceded a goal in 450 minutes. The all-time record from the start is 262 minutes away

Juventus are coming off three consecutive 0-0 draws and their last victory in the league dates back to the 2nd matchday. If it is true that goals are lacking for Thiago Motta’s team, it is equally true that the Juventus defense has proven to be absolutely impenetrable up to now.

The rearguard is the best part of the first Juve according to Thiago Motta. The Bianconeri have only conceded 7 shots on target to their opponents in the first five rounds of Serie A. And when the defensive mechanisms failed, Di Gregorio took care of it, as for example last Saturday on Politano’s free kick in Juventus-Napoli.

The Old Lady has gone 450 minutes unbeatenis the eighth longest streak since the start of Serie A ever. Another ten minutes and Parma will have equalled 1998/99, another nineteen and Fiorentina 1981/82 will have been recaptured. The absolute record is 262 minutes away and dates back almost sixty years, that of Manlio Scopigno’s Cagliari 1966/67.
