Monza, a clear step back. And on the horizon there is Napoli

The difference was made by the great play of Santiago Castroa striker who (potentially) has all the characteristics to establish himself as one of the most interesting in the championship for his shots, quality and technique. But even before his decisive goal, Bologna had played better than Monza who, beyond Djuric’s momentary equaliser that came on an uncertainty by Ravaglia, suffered and endured the opponent. He made a few too many mistakes in the middle of the field and often failed to choose the final pass in the last 16-20 metres. A mix of errors that ultimately cost the match. Compared to the performances against Fiorentina and Inter, therefore, the step backwards was evident.

Delicate moment After 5 days, 3 points have been won. They are not many and some are probably missing, especially those left at the end in Florence. Also missing is that first victory that Monza hoped to win in the second consecutive home game against Bologna, a wish that has remained just that because the reality is different. The stop must necessarily lead to some reflections to understand what went wrong and how to improve especially in some key moments of the match. The calendar in view of the more immediate future does not help: Napoli is in fact the worst opponent to face. Nest and his players will have to be very resourceful to try to play their best.
