Toro is still dry. Even in the derby with Milan, won by the Rossoneri thanks to a goal by Gabbia, the Inter captain Lautaro Martinez he has not managed to unlock himself and is still at zero goals scored this season. Rating 5.5 from The Sports Gazette: “Nice assist for Dimarco, then nothing else, except a shot out and one in. He doesn’t score anymore, he’s soft, he’s becoming a case”. Half a vote more from Sports Courier: “He works with his back turned. He puts Dimarco in front of the goal, who doesn’t miss. His seasonal score remains immaculate.”
Same vote from Allsports: “The assist to Dimarco is a chocolate to be unwrapped, then it is repeated opening the door to Thuram”. Vote 5 instead from Evening Courier: “He plays at his level for half an hour, in getting the attacking game going. And not just for the assist to Dimarco. But then he suffers terribly from a still precarious condition, which makes him always arrive a moment late”.
Vote 6 from the specialized portal The Interista: “A boundless desire to make a name for himself in the derby, he sends one chance over the crossbar. Then he finishes off the perfect assist for Dimarco with three men on him. A gigantic goal-scoring opportunity on the turn, but one that doesn’t angle well enough. We repeat, clarity needs to be regained as soon as possible. And goals too.” 5.5 is the rating we find in the report cards TMW: “San Siro is waiting for a goal from him, he responds with assists. He sees the corridor for Dimarco and sends him to score the equaliser. At the end of the first half he also puts Thuram in front of goal. In the second half he tries to score: it doesn’t work, once again. Can we now call it a coincidence?”
