Juventus and Fiorentina continue to lead the Serie A standings with full points, threatened by Inter who slowed them down in the last round by drawing in the derby, with Roma who, despite never having lost, are a few steps behind at the start of this season.
In the last round, the black and whites won, not without difficulty, on the Lazio pitch thanks to a goal by Sofia Cantore a handful of minutes from the final whistle with the result at 1-1 set by goals from Schatzer and Goldoni. Fiorentina instead responded with a clear 4-0, which shows a great reaction after the defeat in the Champions League against Wolfsburg, against a Sampdoria that has yet to get into gear and is currently at the bottom of the table, although not alone. A victory without too many discussions also for Roma who goes behind in Como, but then comes back thanks to a brace from Evelyne Viens and Troelsgaard’s goal.
As mentioned, Inter slowed down, dreaming of winning the derby thanks to the first Italian goal by Tessa Wullaert, but were caught up in the final minutes by Laurent. First victory of the season, and first points, finally for Napoli Femminile who defeated Sassuolo thanks to a pearl at the start of Debora Novellino.
