Inter, Inzaghi: “We approached the two halves badly, losing a derby stings”

Simone Inzaghi, Inter coachspoke to the Nerazzurri club’s channels after the 2-1 derby loss against Milan: “What was lacking was that we were not a team. We approached the two halves badly, in the first once we reached the equaliser we had to be better and unfortunately we didn’t manage it. Losing a derby stings but we will try to take the positives from this defeat”.

How much disappointment remains?
“We had to be more clear-headed and not lose our distance, we allowed Milan too many counterattacks.”

There is a bit of lack of compactness at the start of this season.
“Yes, she was missing tonight. We will analyse and try to find her again as soon as possible. We have stretched ourselves, we have not been the usual Inter”.

Where do we start again?
“With work, with even more concentration because it hurts to have lost a derby. Sometimes you also have to take the positive things, now we see few but from tomorrow we will start working with our heads on Udinese”.
