Fiorentina-Lazio 2-1, the ratings: Tavares ruins everything, Gudmundsson immediately protagonist

Final result: Fiorentina – Lazio 2-1

FLORENTINE (by Dimitri Conti)

De Gea 7 – The Lazio players show up several times near him but find a wall. All except Gila who hits from a distance that is too close.

Martinez Fourth 5.5 – It is known that he does not excel in the fundamentals of a pure defender, Zaccagni is aware of this and exploits his shortcomings but without breaking through.
From 46′ Gudmundsson 7.5 – It takes him very little to rise to the protagonist of the present Viola, the two penalties scored are decisive. And he takes the first one.

Comacchio 6 – This terrible 2005 is taking over the starting lineup in Fiorentina’s defense. Just one little mistake costs Gila a goal in an otherwise excellent performance.

Biraghi 5.5 – Reinvented now in the position of left central defender, he remains too blocked to bring out his qualities. And defensively he suffers.
From 46′ Ranieri 6 – Thrown in as a centre-back in the four-man defence, he didn’t lose his composure and stopped Lazio’s various attempts, which had in the meantime become less consistent.

Dodo 7 – In progression, he starts off timidly until he takes center stage. And the penalty that once and for all decides the outcome of the match at the Franchi.

Ox 6 – He starts in a fake attacking midfielder position to enhance his first pressure, but he seems to have few references there. A little better moved to mezzala.

Cataldi 6.5 – Head against heart, he is called to make the maneuver work in the challenge to Lazio that he has always loved. He plays like a professor, using a lot of brain.
From 85′ Adli sv.

Mandrake 5.5 – In difficulty throughout the first half, Lazio’s opponents put him in the middle and he touched few balls. A little better in the second half, while he was there.
From 65′ Kouame 6 – He comes in to give new energy to the attack, he puts in good will but is a bit confused and clumsy when it comes to finishing.

Gosens 6 – Less flashy and in the thick of things than in his first outings as a Fiorentina player, he still manages to keep the lane afloat.

Colpani 5.5 – The great opportunity to remove the zero from the ‘goals scored’ entry comes in the first half, hitting Provedel and then the post. Too bad, the rest had been good.
From 81′ Ikone sv.

Kean 6 – A two-faced match: tireless in the pressing phases and in carrying out the reference work in the centre of the attack, he however missed a huge chance in the 70th minute.

Raffaele Palladino 6.5 – Objective first seasonal victory, to do so he proposes almost entirely the eleven of Bergamo, except for Comuzzo in place of Ranieri. The first half that does not go according to plan, with Lazio that also closes in advantage. No problem: revolutionizes everything, brings in Gudmundsson by switching to four at the back. The reward for the courage shown comes with the overtaking and his first victory in purple.

LAZIO (by Filippo D’Angelo)

Provedel 6.5 – He is called into action after a few minutes, making a super save with Colpani who hits the post. He can do very little about Gudmundsson’s penalties, however.

Lazarus 6 – He offers a performance, proposing himself in both phases until the moment of substitution. From 69′ Marusic 5.5 – Not an easy entrance for him, who shows more than one difficulty on the wing.

Patrick 6 – Attentive especially in the first half, perhaps in the second half he concedes a little more and also gets a yellow card.

Gila 7 – At the end of the first half he takes advantage of a perfect cross from Nuno Tavares, scoring his first goal in Serie A with a perfect header. It’s a shame that his goal wasn’t enough to avoid the defeat.

Nuno Tavares 5.5 – In the first half he made his third assist of the season but in the second half he ruined everything, coming in late on Dodò and causing the second penalty for Fiorentina which was then converted by Gudmundsson.

Guendouzi 5.5 – After a first half of high level he commits a naivety at the beginning of the second half, stopping Gudmundsson inside the area and causing the first penalty of the Viola. A banal error, which nullifies a performance of quality.

Castroville 5.5 – His return to Florence was not so happy. He was seen little during the match and when he was substituted he was booed, undeservedly, by the Viola fans. From 61′ Rovella 5.5 – Called into action to give greater balance to Lazio’s midfield, he is a little nervous.

Isaac 6 – He played a sufficient hour of play at the Franchi, where he certainly had no shortage of opportunities and ideas. One of the most active of the entire Biancoceleste attack. From 61′ Tchaouna 5.5 – He fails to make himself effective in a complex half hour.

God 5.5 – He doesn’t shine particularly in support of Noslin and at the beginning of the first half he loses a bloody ball, which favors a restart by Fiorentina that ends with Colpani hitting the post. And he has to thank Provedel, extraordinary in the intervention on the ex Monza player.

Zaccagni 6 – He moves a lot as usual on the left side, also creating several occasions. Unfortunately his commitment and his quality were not useful to Lazio

Noslin 5 – Called in to replace the injured Castellanos, he fails in the center of the attack where he has too many difficulties in front of the Viola defenders. He is not incisive at all and creates little.

Mark Baroni 5.5 – His Lazio offered a lot especially in the offensive phase, as in the other matches played so far. It’s a shame for some carelessness in defense, which caused the two penalties of Fiorentina.
