Spezia, D’Angelo after the derby: “We were in a fantastic stadium, we deserved to win”

“I’m happy with the four goals scored, we could have scored even more, but we could have done better on the goals conceded. The standings? There’s no point in getting high-headed now, it wouldn’t be fair, let’s think about continuing to give our all”: this is how he began his post-match press conference, Spezia coach Luca D’Angelo, who won the highly-anticipated derby against Carraresevalid for the 6th day of the Serie B championship and won by the Ligurian eagles with a heavy 4-2 final score which projected them to second place in the standings.

The Juventus coach then continued: “The fact that we went one goal down is an aspect on which we must improve, there won’t always be the possibility of scoring four goals, but you could see that the team would recover, we had many chances, and I can say that the team played an excellent match, also taking into account the context: we were in a fantastic stadium, we deservedly won. But being supported by 10,000 people obviously makes everything easier.”

A note then goes to the match and the opponent: “Carrarese had played very well against Cremonese, with SudTirol, and also performed well against Sassuolo. We were good at putting them in difficulty”.
