Man United, Onana: “My save is not that important because we didn’t win”

Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana he commented to the microphones of Sky Sports the draw against Crystal Palace: “I think my save is not so important because we didn’t win. We are such a big club, when we go somewhere, I think we have the ambition to try to win. We didn’t win, but I’m happy for the work and the sacrifice of my teammates.

I think we were better than them. We had so many chances but unfortunately we didn’t score. It’s difficult to come back with a point when we deserved to win. It’s always nice to keep a clean sheet, but the most important thing, especially playing for Manchester United, is to win. We didn’t lose today, but we came here with the mentality to win, so we go home disappointed.

“In football, sometimes, you can’t control everything. We were dominant, we had more chances. I always had faith in my guys. We hit the crossbar twice and hopefully, in the next games, we’ll score a lot. We had an important game to win, but I’m going home sad because Manchester United, wherever they go, have to play good football, have to win, have to be dominant, create chances and we have to finish.”
