The Genoa goalkeeper saved a penalty, but the decisive mistake was made on Busio, as reiterated by La Gazzetta dello Sport: “He saves on Oristanio, saves a penalty, but wastes it all by misreading Busio’s cross”. A similar judgment also from Tuttosport: “He blocks Oristanio, rejects Pohjanpalo’s penalty, is surprised by Busio’s cross shot”.
Insufficient match also for TMW: “Hero on the penalty saved by Pohjanpalo: monstrous save. He had already responded to Oristanio from two steps, even if the shot was central. On the first goal conceded, however, he was a bit clumsy in evaluating the cross by Busio that fooled him”.
