Osvaldo with an open heart: “Playing for Boca is my biggest dream, I have no regrets”

During an interview given to The Graphicthe former striker of Roma and Inter – among others – Daniel Oswald he talked about himself, his career and the coaches he would have liked one day in his career. However, starting from his time spent at Boca Juniors between 2015 and 2016, which he did not hesitate to say was the greatest goal he achieved in his life.

The statement. “I knew that at a certain point in my career I wanted to play for Boca, but I didn’t know if Boca would want me. But luckily they wanted me. It was the biggest dream of my life to play for Boca, I don’t regret anything. I played as long as I wanted, as long as I felt like it and as long as I could give 100%. What happens to me when I go on the pitch is that in that moment, when the game starts, I can’t wait to be there”, the words taken from TyC Sports.

But there is one person, an eternal rival, to whom he has reserved words of praise and that is the current coach of River Plate, Marcelo Gallardoagainst whom he played as a player at Boca and also at Banfield: “El Muñeco Gallardo, I wish he hadn’t been from River. And I wish he had coached me, I think I would have scored 20 goals a game,” Osvaldo confessed. Adding: “From what you see from the outside, it seems like he makes the players perform at their best. A lot of players under him were at the top of their game.”

In the same interview, Osvaldo was asked which coach he would have liked and which one he would not.: “Can I ask someone? I would have liked to be coached by Ancelotti. And what I would not have liked is obvious, but I will not name it because no one knows it,” the mysterious conclusion.
