Tomorrow Juve-Napoli, Causio: “Conte deserves respect, he should be welcomed. Azzurri ahead”

Interviewed by Allsportsthe former Juventus player Frank Causio talks about the return of Anthony Conte at the Stadium as Napoli coach. “How will Conte be welcomed by Juventus fans? We are both from Lecce and we have both entered the history of Juventus: he should be welcomed well, because he deserves respect and has great merit in the results achieved in the past”.

Causio also talks about the current state of the two teams, with Juventus also fresh from their Champions League commitments: “Maybe Napoli is ahead – says the former Juventus player – a key player like Lukaku has just arrived, but he already knows Conte’s requests very well. Will Juve’s Champions League commitment count? In the long run, for the physical and mental energy that the double commitment requires, probably yes. But for this match I don’t think so: we are at the early stages, the players are still fresh”.

Where will the match be decided?
“In the middle of the field, in my opinion. Napoli has an exceptional midfield: I’m thinking of players like Lobotka or Anguissa. Thiago Motta will have to pull another rabbit out of the hat, like he just did with McKennie, to respond in the best way.”

Where do the Bianconeri still have to grow?
“Especially in the offensive solutions, I have the feeling that Vlahovic should remain calmer, he seems too frenetic to me.”
