The reason for Ibra’s visit to Milanello and the talks with Theo and Fonseca

The situation at AC Milan is critical, but today – metaphorically speaking – a sort of truce was signed: no upheaval, no revolution, at least until Sunday, when the derby between Inter and Milan will be played, valid for the fifth day of Serie A. The reason is simple: it is a match too important to be overlooked.

Ibra at Milanello
Confirming this strategy is the presence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic yesterday at Milanello. The Swede arrived at the Rossoneri sports center around 11 am and welcomed the coach and players as they exited the locker rooms before the start of the session. Ibra encouraged and spurred the players individually, he did not give a collective speech to the team, but he then wanted to talk with some of the team leaders, including Mike Maignan, Theo Hernandez and Tijjani Reijnders.

The new coach
Paolo Fonseca’s future will be decided with the derby, even if many suggest that the choice on him has already been made. There are four names to replace him: Edin Terzic and Thomas Tuchel (two Germans), they are the foreign options in the plans of the Rossoneri management. However, there are also two Italian options: one is Maurizio Sarri and Igor Tudor, Croatian but of Italian training. Allegri has never been contacted.
