Sommer already in derby mood: “I always study, but I won’t tell you which side Pulisic kicks penalties from”

The Nerazzurri goalkeeper Yann Summer gave an interview to CBS Sports between the challenge with Manchester City and the one against Milan. This is his comment on the derby with the Rossoneri on Sunday evening: “It is very important to prepare the match and understand how the attackers play. How they shoot, how they press me and not only. I have to study them to understand how to react. I won’t tell you which side Pulisic takes the penalties from. In a derby it is certainly important to understand how penalties are taken. We’ll see what happens”

In the same interview, the Swiss international also spoke about the new Champions League: “I honestly haven’t thought about it too much. At the beginning I said that it could be interesting that you don’t have to play twice against each team so you see more games, more opponents. We’ll see how it goes”. He commented on the busy calendar, too busy between the league, national teams and various cups: “I think the most important thing is the health of the players. Change something in the clubs’ schedule because you need to rotate more. A few years ago you could play the whole season almost always with the same players. Now you have 70 games. Something will change but in the end we’ll see what this first season will be like, the new Champions League and the Club World Cup. Whoever has to decide will have to make the right decision”.
