Sensini to RFV on the new Viola Argentines: “Moreno can be a libero, Valentini has experience”

Nestor Sensinia great protagonist of Serie A between the 1990s and 2000s, spoke at Radio FirenzeViola during the program “Garrisca al Vento” to talk about the next Fiorentina-Lazio, but also about the defense of the lilies full of his Argentine compatriots: “When you play with 3 the movements are different, you have to have a lot of coordination because the spaces are wider. Then normally you end up playing with 5, with the wingers who come to cover. With 4 it’s different, you’re closer to your teammates, you cover your area. When you change it’s not easy. Even I, for example, when I played with 3, I noticed the difficulty of the spaces and movements”.

About Biraghi: “He’s a player who can adapt to different roles. If the coach always plays him, it’s because he sees something during training during the week.”

On Argentine defenders Valentini and Moreno: “Moreno is young, he played for Belgrano which is a good team. In Argentina he was a libero, but he also played as a centre-right. He’s not bad with the ball at his feet, but I haven’t seen much of him so I can’t judge him thoroughly. He will definitely have to adapt to a new reality, he’s only just arrived. Fiorentina sometimes doesn’t give you time to learn Italian football because obviously Serie A is a totally different championship. Valentini on the other hand is a player with a little more experience and in my opinion he has different qualities”.

On Quarta: “He has some experience, he’s a good player with the ball at his feet. He relaxes a bit too much during the game, his concentration drops. Fiorentina believes a lot in him because they renewed his contract. Then the goals are good, but we also have to defend”.

On the match between Fiorentina and Lazio: “It will be a balanced match. Lazio has recovered, they didn’t start well against Udinese. Fiorentina may suffer a bit at the back, Lazio have a good game”.
