In 2015-16 Federico Baschirotto was in Serie D, at nineteen years old, with the dream of being able to reach the top. 34 appearances with Seregno that had earned him the call of Forlì, in Lega Pro, where however he had collected only ten appearances. A little better the following year, with Cuneo, twenty-two appearances and one goal, with salvation that had arrived only by winning the playout with Gavorrano. It had not been enough for confirmation in the third series, but that decision was probably the best of his career.
Because Vigor Carpaneto served as a run-up. Thirty-three appearances and two goals that opened the doors, again, to C, this time with Viterbese. Four goals in C that earned him a call from Ascoli, in B, with another 4 goals. Finally Lecce, where he is irreplaceable.
