Alessio Tacchinardithrough TMW Radio during Maracanà, he spoke about Juventus’ moment and the good start to the season of Thiago Motta’s men:
What struck you most about Motta’s European debut?
“I like him a lot, he always tries to play attacking football, but he has courage, keeping important players out. He lets the ones who pedal the most now play. I like his balance. He conceded the goal in the last second but he is bad at defending and from there he builds an offensive game that is growing. Juve still has to grow, it is in its infancy. Koopmeiners wants to do more and will do more, but he is growing like everyone else. However, for now Juve suffers against teams that close up. Napoli will play very hermetic and therefore there is already anticipation for this match. However, Motta has the team in his grasp, because even those who come in have the right attitude. It is the team that has the most room for improvement and arouses the most curiosity to watch like Napoli”.

“I think it’s still early for the real Juve and we’ll see later. Napoli has the identikit to win the championship, it’s not beautiful but with a lot of venom inside. Napoli is scary and plays a game a week, but I have a lot of faith in Motta and I’m happy for the return of Chiellini, who is an added value. However, Juve has many choices and I applaud Danilo, who returned humbly and with great spirit”.
Yildiz to Del Piero:
“My mother told me that he is stronger than Del Piero at that age. He has some shortcomings, he has to improve but he has the qualities. You can see that he has talent, the feeling is that on the left he gets a bit lost. I like him more in the heat of the game but he has to grow, mature. Del Piero was a sensational talent, he is not like him, but he can improve. He is a humble player and I wish him great success. He has time to grow, Vlahovic on the other hand is not making that step of growth. He wants to break the world but… and be careful, because Juve needs his important goals. He is missing goals because of anxiety. He wants to break the world but he needs to be more calm”.
