De Rossi had become the coach of Roma on January 16th when he took over from José Mourinho. A few months later, he also received a contract renewal until June 30th 2027 and now, after only four days of the championship, here comes the dismissal, mainly due to the disappointing start to the season: Roma has so far earned three draws and suffered one defeat.
